Check a Company’s License
Are you skeptical that your tree contractor might not truly be licensed? Click on the California Contractor State License Board link below and you can search by contactor name or owner name.
The search will show if the business or person has a valid contractor state license, if they have workers compensation insurance (If this section says exempt, THIS MEANS THEY STATE THEY HAVE NO EMPLOYEES!) and their bonding information.
Remember the customer can be held responsible for employee injury if the business or person has employees with no workers compensation insurance.
