Stump Grinding

Stump Grinding is performed using a stump grinding machine, the machine has a wheel lined with carbide tipped teeth that spin at high rpm’s and can cut/grind the stump into small wood chips.

Standard stump grinding is performed approximately 12 inches below the surface including any surface roots depending on the circumstances.

At San Diego Tree Care, Inc. we are equipped with large and small stump grinders capable of removing any stump large or small in any location (slopes, elevated planters,tight areas, etc.).
